Not everyday IKEA. Don't get me wrong, I love the brand. I have IKEA pieces scattered throughout my home, but where else should one shop when you love that modern, clean look, but you need to venture away from IKEA. This post is all about where you can go when you want an alternative to the famous Swedish furniture store. 

Often when we look for home accessories we forget about the array of materials readily available at our fingertips. If you're wanting something new to spruce your pad, you don't need to venture out for the most elusive piece of art, you can just buy items that already frequent your home but try buying them in a material that you wouldn't normally. Why not try marble?

The way I approach my home decor is very much like the way I approach my wardrobe. I have staple pieces that see me through the year, however I like to mix it up by adding a few new seasonal pieces here and there. Homes should be ever changing and this is completely feasible because you don't have to make huge changes to make a huge impact.
