6 ways to master the marble trend
Often when we look for home accessories we forget about the array of materials readily available at our fingertips. If you're wanting something new to spruce your pad, you don't need to venture out for the most elusive piece of art, you can just buy items that already frequent your home but try buying them in a material that you wouldn't normally. Why not try marble? Marble has been featured everywhere throughout 2016 (and I think the trend will stick around for a little while). Marble is great for several reasons - it's clean, it lacks fuss, it adds light to dark spaces and although marble can be quite grand, if chosen wisely and incorporated in subtle doses, it can add a classic touch to any decor, without being overwhelming.
So, if you are wondering where to start with this marvellous, marble trend - read on because I'm sharing a few of my favourite finds.
Gold or marble? Gold or marble? It's the question I've been asking myself a lot recently, well why not do both? I'm loving this marble clock from Heal's, the gold hands add a certain je ne sais quio. The clocks come in green and black too - all hail Heal's.
